After completing NCERTs and Basic Textbooks of previous classes, a candidate can move on to preparation books or guides. Aspirants are advised to purchase at least one/two preparation books or guides for AMU MBA Entrance Exams according to applied courses. Students are advised to avoid reading multiple books, i.e. don’t read too many guides or reference books. Some important books are mentioned at the end of the article.

4. Create a Monthly and Weekly Time-table

Aspirants are required to prepare a timetable on what topics to cover when, which topics/subjects require high priority, and how much to cover on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The benefit of having a daily study schedule is once you are finished with a task, you already know what is next on your schedule.

A proper and good timetable is very helpful as the candidate has to maintain a balance between his studies and other things. There should be breaks between long continuous study hours. They can follow the “50/10 or 25/5 – Rule” (50 or 25 mins for study and 10 or 5 mins of break). You have to distribute your time according to your weaknesses and strengths. There should be the proper time for study, food, and sleep.

Students are advised to create a daily plan & while making a schedule, a special time slot should be provided for completing the syllabus of the applied course. Revise the syllabus and content, attempt as many question papers, mock tests, and previous year papers for better preparation and time should be given to all these steps of preparation wisely.

5. Makes important & short Notes and revise them regularly

While studying basic texts books of previous classes or NCERT textbooks, students should make or prepare short and understandable notes of respective humanities subjects that will be asked in the entrance exam. Make easy notes by making Flow Charts, Diagrams, Tables, Posters, etc., and stick them wherever possible and review them at least two times a day before sleeping.

There should be a fixed revision slot of 1-3 hours in your timetable. Revision is a continuous process. You may think you have prepared a particular topic, chapter, or subject perfectly but you won’t be able to retain it unless you revise again and again. It will help you to get perfect on that particular topic or subject. Student can enhance their revision by solving practice questions on the topic from reference books instead.

6. Go through Previous Years Question papers

The next step to qualify for the AMU M.B.A. Entrance Exams is to prepare the previous year’s papers. During & after making the notes, candidates need to go through the previous year’s question papers (At least 5 years). Learn the pattern of solving questions. This is possible only through regular and constant practice.

There is no better method to know the frames and traps for AMU MBA Entrance Exams than practicing papers from the past years. You will likewise get a thought of how much time you have to solve the whole paper as well as what kind of inquiries can come and how you have to handle them.

Solving past year’s papers will also give you the best idea of the level of AMU entrance exams. Candidates should learn and prepare all questions from the previous year’s papers. All AMU M.B.A. previous year question papers of the last 3 years are available on our site.

7. Give Mock Tests & Sample papers

Next step is to give mock tests and practicing sample papers. For this you can buy entrance sample papers of applied course from any books shop or you can join regular test series (online/coaching) and give mock tests at home online or in coaching. The main benefit of giving mock tests is that the aspirants can analyze their performance in the test. They can check their mistakes, time spent on the individual question, section of the exam, or on the whole exam, and suggestions for improvements.

Students should try to crack mock tests or sample papers within a specific time slot. The general mistake made by most aspirants is that they never review what they have solved. Whenever you are solving a mock test, try to analyze the questions or topics you are facing problems with and the areas you are quick to solve. Develop good planning while solving the practice papers. 50% of the questions in the paper have a low difficulty level, so solve them first. Never solve the paper in a row and avoid the questions if you face problems or difficulties.

Here are the study tips to crack NEET within the first attempt.

1. Plan a study schedule to finish the NEET syllabus in time

The advantage of getting a daily study schedule is once you’re finished with a task, you already know what’s next on your schedule. Starting your day in an equivalent way can motivate you to review consistently, even once you don’t desire to study.

2. Don’t skip topics and chapters that you simply think are smaller for NEET

In the NEET exam, an issue can come from any topic or chapter. Complete all the subjects as sometimes a simple question can come from the topic which you discover unimportant or difficult to read. When studying a difficult chapter, don’t think that you simply got to cram or require long study hours to finish it in one go. Study daily for a few times rather than a marathon study session on one day.

3. Study from NCERT textbooks; refer coaching modules and reference books for practicing NEET level problems

Read the NCERT textbooks line by line. Solved examples, exercises, summaries—everything in NCERT is vital for NEET. Observe and reproduce all the NCERT diagrams for physics, chemistry, and biology. A couple of questions may come from outside of NCERT in NEET; those should be covered by your coaching material and reference books.

4. Revise daily, make revision notes for eleventh-hour revision before the tests and exam

There should be fixed revision slots in your NEET schedule. alongside the idea, solve problems to revise effectively. Prepare short notes for NEET that you simply can revise before the exam. Make flow charts, diagrams, tables, posters, post-its, etc., and stick them wherever possible and have a look at them repeatedly.

5. Join a training to reinforce your chances of cracking the NEET exam

Join training if you haven’t joined yet. Coaching gives you excellent exposure to quality teaching, questions, and therefore the tests conducted on the idea of NEET exam pattern. It’ll assist you in staying confident to crack NEET within the first attempt.

6. Attend all classes and complete your homework/ assignments on time

Be regular together with your classes. Any day the teacher can teach you some key lessons and tricks. Don’t neglect what’s happening currently in your coaching so as to hide previous concepts or backlogs. Your first priority should be to end your current assignments and homework on time.

7. Clear all of your doubts as soon as possible. Never keep them pending

Doubts cause frustration, procrastination, disappointments, and lots of more roadblocks in your preparation. You’ve got to clear your doubts asap. In coaching classes, you’ll ask your doubts, queries, learning methods, or anything that’s getting you trouble. Clear NEET doubts online.

8. Give mock tests, analyse mistakes and improve your performance

Along with regular tests in coaching, you should also practice online mock tests at home. The advantage of online mock tests is that you can analyze your performance within the examination. You’ll check your mistakes, determine how important is time spent per question or section, and make suggestions for improvement.

9. Manage some time well between studies and other tasks

Time management is extremely crucial as you’ve got to seek out a balance between studies and other things. Long continuous study hours can bring exhaustion and too many breaks may end in not having the ability to finish your additional time.

10. Stay positive and determined to realize your goal

Believe that you can crack NEET on your first attempt. Do everything that’s required to make it happen. There could also be moments when you feel low and negative about not clearing the exam. You want to remain strong and motivated during these challenging times to realize your goal.
