Distance Classes in Aligarh Muslim University
Centre for AMU Distance Education (CDE) mainly believes in reaching the unreached for his or her empowerment and social justice through education. Keeping in mind the abject educational condition of all the backward sections/communities, including Muslims, of the Indian Nation, the CDE is providing basic courses like 10+2 and Bachelor in Arts/ science and Commerce, besides some job-oriented Diploma courses.
The middle follows the syllabi of the most Departments of the Aligarh Muslim University for running its various courses. The course materials are prepared accordingly in self-instructional format in accordance with these syllabi by experts from AMU and other Universities. These materials are reviewed and vetted by the school also as outside experts and edited or modified, whenever necessary. AMU Distance Education - Study Materials - CDE
The printed study materials are delivered to students at the time of admission / continuation from the office of the CDE or its Study Centers wherever the scholars are registered / admitted. These materials are even posted to students in exceptional cases. Students are advised to contact Programme Coordinator from time to time.
Personal Contact Programme (PCP) For Face-To-Face Guidance
When we are talking about AMU Distance Education we can not forget Personal Contact Programme (PCP) For Face-To-Face Guidance.
For The Personal Contact Programmes are going to be organized at the Centre or at Learner Centres of the University. Prior information for the private Contact Programmes are going to be given to the scholars, facilitating them to attend the programme. the knowledge shall be notified to the scholars well beforehand . Certain percentage of attendance in these programmes is required.
Assignments of AMU Distance Education
During the amount of Personnel Contact Programme, assignments are going to be given to the scholars. The assignments shall be submitted by the candidate within stipulated time. These assignments will function feedback and can be counted towards internal assessment in each paper.
Examination: CDE will organize the examination as per the scheme. Examination Centre: Examinations are going to be conducted by the Centre for Distance Education, AMU Aligarh.
Dispute / Legal Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising in matters including admission, lessons, personal contact programmes, examination, fees, etc., are going to be subject to the jurisdiction of ALIGARH COURT.
Issue of Admission Forms
A candidate can obtain an admission form from the Centre for AMU Distance Education (CDE), AMU or from the CDE Website www.cdeamu.ac.in. The downloaded admission forms must be attached with a draft of Rs. 300/- (cost of the appliance form) in favour of Finance Officer, AMU, payable at Aligarh alongside other required documents for admission.
The application form also can be obtained from the Cash Counter at CDE, AMU on payment of Rs. 300/- or by sending a Bank Demand Draft of Rs. 350/- in favour of Finance Officer, AMU, payable at Aligarh alongside a self addressed A4 size envelope affixing postal stamp of Rs.60/- to

Selection for Admission - CDE
The list of selected candidates for admission are going to be displayed at the Office of the CDE, A.M.U.
Admission is hospitable all those that possess prescribed minimum qualification.
Admissions are provisional, subject to verification of required documents & eligibility conditions.
Fees
All fees shall be paid by Demand Draft in favour of Finance Officer, AMU, payable at Aligarh only
The Admission Fees can only be refunded within one month from the date of admission.
Rejection of form - AMU Distance Education
The application form could also be rejected thanks to any of the subsequent reasons: If the candidate doesn’t fulfill the eligibility criteria. If the qualifying examination isn’t recognized by Aligarh Muslim University. If the appliance Form isn’t signed by the Candidate. If the clearance from the AMU Proctor isn’t given. If the appliance form is incomplete. If the knowledge provided by the candidate is incomplete or incorrect. Note: the knowledge, provided in form, must be supported by the self attested documents.
Admission / Enrolment Number
The Admission / Enrolment Number are going to be given Only after Completion of Admission. If a student already has AMU Enrolment No. then the scholar should mention an equivalent Enrolment No. within the Admission Form. The Admission Card Issued after the Admission Shall even is Treated As card. The scholars must Retain The Admission Card During the whole Duration in fact.
Important Instructions - AMU Distance Education
Applicants must undergo the prospectus carefully and fill the specified information correctly.
CDE shall not be liable for any postal delay.
Candidates are going to be liable for any misinformation.
The form isn’t transferable.
Candidates must submit attested photocopies of relevant documents alongside the appliance form. They ought to not enclose any original document.
Boards of Examination & Universities Recognized by COBSE & AIU are valid for Admissions.

In AMU Disatance Education Two degree programmes can’t be allowed to be pursued simultaneously; however, a student can pursue a degree and a diploma course simultaneously through combination of distance and regular mode from an equivalent or different university (ies)
