AMU TPO Jobs and Recruitment! How often do we think about these? All these words evoke a sense of insecurity in ourselves and our careers. Employment quality and quantity are always challenging for all universities, especially AMU, where people expect the best. The efficiency of the university in dealing with this challenge defines the future of the thousands of students and itself.
Aligarh Muslim University has a general Training and Placement Office (TPO) cell to aid the students with finding jobs or placements. The TPO endeavours to make students informed regarding the golden opportunities for their employment. In this era where non-employment has become the major troublesome aspect of youth section, considering lakhs of students graduating and fails to get the fair chance of exercising their skills; it is quite crucial for the TPOs of universities like AMU to make students learn better about the availability of jobs and help them placed in various good companies or places.
The three main staffs of the cell include-
Saad Hamid has been the training and placement officer since 2012 and from then onwards he has taken great initiatives in making it an employment friendly cell by setting annual job fairs and HR meets to improve the job opportunities. He also got students placed in MNCs. The other members include-
Jahangir Alam as assistant TPO of the cell. He is also an associate professor in Women’s Polytechnic of the university.
Muzamil Mushtaq is also an assistant TPO. He works as an assistant professor in the department of AMU Maulana Azad Library and Information Science at the university.
It offers training to the students in the form of mock Interviews and discussions in order to increase their skills or train them for the real job interviews
It spreads the news of job availability to the concerning department of the university.
It tries arranging on-campus and off-campus recruitment for the students.
It invites influencing personalities to motivate students.
It organises job fairs, seminars and workshops.
It also help students get some internships as well (summer &winter).

Astorianz Industries Pvt. Ltd. offered internships to students from MBA, Mass Com, MCA, BCA, MSW, and BSW.
Bank of Baroda offered internship of Sales Intern to post graduation and final year graduation students.
Braahmam Net Solution demanded final year BA and MA students from foreign languages. Linguistics and mass communication background for media and translations.
Fiat Justitia LLP provided opportunity of internship to law students.
The notifications of all the jobs and internships are always updated on the site of AMU in the section of Training and Placement Office AMU (General). The TPO page has all the notifications concerning jobs, internships, recruitment drives, etc. In that, they provide the full job program with eligibility and the process of registration.
